OAI-SearchBot is OpenAI's crawler for live ChatGPT search — it fetches pages so they can appear as cited sources in answers.

It's distinct from GPTBot (training) and ChatGPT-User (the agent that visits when a user clicks a link).

Why it matters: If you want to appear in ChatGPT's web-search answers, this is the bot you must allow — blocking GPTBot alone doesn't affect it.
